Who is this little guy?
Well, Mindy and I have been trying to start thinking about boy names for this guy. We have tons of girl names, but no boy names. We wanted to include some family history in his name, so here are some of our first ideas. What do you think? Please click on the comment link to give us your thoughts.
1) William Ray (or Raymond) Clifton
William = Mindy's maternal grandfather's middle name
Ray/Raymond = Chris' maternal grandfather's first name
Meaning for William is "determined protector."
Meaning for Ray/Raymod is "protecting hands."
*Note: We thought of this name because our baby keeps protecting his face and heart with his hands everytime he gets his ultrasound. :)
*Also, we liked the nickname "Will"
2) Miles Landon Clifton
Miles = Chris' maternal grandfather's middle name
Landon = Chris' middle name
Meaning for Miles is "merciful, servant, soldier"
Meaning for Landon is "from the long hill"
3) Raymond Eugene Clifton
Raymond = Chris' maternal grandfather's first name
Eugene = Chris' paternal grandfather's middle name
Meaning for Raymond is "protector / protecting hands."
Meaning for Eugene is "well-born"
4) Landon MIller Clifton
Landon = Chris's middle name
Miller = maternal grandparent's last name
Meaning for Landon is "from the long hill."
Meaning for Miller is simply "one who mills" :)
5) Landon Christopher Clifton
Landon = Chris' middle namd
Christopher = Chris' first name
Meaning for Landon is "from the long hill."
Meaning for Christopher is "bearer or follower of Christ."
6) William Edward Clifton
William = Mindy's maternal grandfather's middle name
Edward = Mindy's paternal grandfather's middle name
7) Ralphie-Ray Clifton
Just kidding, but grandpa Clifton really wanted us to use it to remember him, Ralph, and Grandpa Miller, Ray.
8) My favorite though is...
...if our baby is born on the 5th of May (near his due date) I want to name him...
"Cinco de Clifton"
*That would be so cool!
9) Charles Leon Clifton
Charles = Mindy's dad's middle name
Leon = Chris' dad's middle name
Meaning for Charles is "free man."
Meaning for Leon is "lion."
Well, that's a lot of vareity. If we can't get it figured out we'll probably just name him, "iBaby nano."

Hey our little guy is really shaping up. On names, I like Miles Landon Clifton since that includes Grandpa Clifton's last name, Miller's middle name and your middle name. Miles is a musical name (Miles Davis, Buddy Miles, etc) plus it just has a nice ring to it. I also like Landon Christopher Clifton after my number one son. It is unusual but has a unique and sophisticated sound to it. Christopher, bearer of Christ, and one of the most famous early saints of the church adds to this. William, Ray and Leon are sort of common but not bad either. Love you dad
I still think you should auction off your kid's name on e-Bay to a corporation. Maybe Coca-Cola Clifton or Microsoft McDonalds Clifton. Just think instant college fund.
Anyway, we like Miles. It's actually one of my favorite names.
You've got some really great names picked out, I like number 1 thru 5...just
don't call him "Chris" as first name ... we've so many Chris's in the family

Hey guys! I like them all, but Miles Landon is my favorite.If it were my choice, I'd name him Ralphie-Ray, but since that's out of the question, Miles is cute too.

I like Number 5. Although, my mind was running in the same track as yours. I thought of Nanu,Nanu, as a joke. Anyway, you have a lot of good names. It is hard to choose.
