We're Registered!

Recently, we've been asked where we are registered and this past week we got around to signing up for some cool baby stuff. You'll find our registry list at both Target (target.com) and Babies 'R Us (babiesrus.com)

You can visit both of these places online, if you'd like. Just find the baby registry and look us up. One side note - Babies 'R Us lists several items as "unavailable" - that means it is unavailable online, but you can still get them at your local store. We hope that helps you. -Chris and Mindy

The Name Game

Who is this little guy?

Well, Mindy and I have been trying to start thinking about boy names for this guy. We have tons of girl names, but no boy names. We wanted to include some family history in his name, so here are some of our first ideas. What do you think? Please click on the comment link to give us your thoughts.

1) William Ray (or Raymond) Clifton
William = Mindy's maternal grandfather's middle name
Ray/Raymond = Chris' maternal grandfather's first name
Meaning for William is "determined protector."
Meaning for Ray/Raymod is "protecting hands."
*Note: We thought of this name because our baby keeps protecting his face and heart with his hands everytime he gets his ultrasound. :)
*Also, we liked the nickname "Will"

2) Miles Landon Clifton
Miles = Chris' maternal grandfather's middle name
Landon = Chris' middle name
Meaning for Miles is "merciful, servant, soldier"
Meaning for Landon is "from the long hill"

3) Raymond Eugene Clifton
Raymond = Chris' maternal grandfather's first name
Eugene = Chris' paternal grandfather's middle name
Meaning for Raymond is "protector / protecting hands."
Meaning for Eugene is "well-born"

4) Landon MIller Clifton
Landon = Chris's middle name
Miller = maternal grandparent's last name
Meaning for Landon is "from the long hill."
Meaning for Miller is simply "one who mills" :)

5) Landon Christopher Clifton
Landon = Chris' middle namd
Christopher = Chris' first name
Meaning for Landon is "from the long hill."
Meaning for Christopher is "bearer or follower of Christ."

6) William Edward Clifton
William = Mindy's maternal grandfather's middle name
Edward = Mindy's paternal grandfather's middle name

7) Ralphie-Ray Clifton
Just kidding, but grandpa Clifton really wanted us to use it to remember him, Ralph, and Grandpa Miller, Ray.

8) My favorite though is...
...if our baby is born on the 5th of May (near his due date) I want to name him...
"Cinco de Clifton"
*That would be so cool!

9) Charles Leon Clifton
Charles = Mindy's dad's middle name
Leon = Chris' dad's middle name
Meaning for Charles is "free man."
Meaning for Leon is "lion."

Well, that's a lot of vareity. If we can't get it figured out we'll probably just name him, "iBaby nano."

Hands and Feet

Here's another photo of the baby. You can see his hands, fingers, head and feet. He was playing with his feet when this ultrasound was taken. Pretty cool, huh? He's been moving more, but has been really sneaky. Everytime Mindy feels a movement and puts her hand on her belly he moves away quickly and settles down. But, he does seem to like some kids music. Mindy has been sending him some sound waves via headphones recently. We are still trying to figure out his musical preferences. :) - Chris and Mindy

I read the Palm Beach Post police blotter every Wednesday in the Neighborhood section. This is one of the funniest reports I've read. This happened near Walmart on Belvedere and 441. Take a look. - Chris

Say "No" to Diets!

Hey everyone. I found this great new device if your pants are getting tight. I couldn't believe this was a real product. Some home gadget company sells it. So, why diet or buy bigger clothes when you can just stretch your own pants out? Anyone's birthday coming up? It would be a great present. -Chris
